The Virginia Environmental Health Association and the National Capital Area Environmental Health Association will be holding a joint educational session at the Northern Virginia Community College Manassas campus (6909 Sudley Road) in the Colgan Theater on October 29, 2009. The agenda will be distributed as soon as additional speaker confirmations have been received. Please mark your calendars now. The preliminary list of prospective speakers indicates that this will be a very interesting and educational day.
The cost for VEHA members will be $20, non-members $25 and students $5. This on-site registration fee will include morning and afternoon refreshments. VEHA is asking it's members to please R.S.V.P. to Catherine.Cummins@vdh.virginia.gov by October 15 so that we can compile a head count. The cost for the educational session for NCAEHA members will be $20 for members and $25 for non-members and you are asked to R.S.V.P. to RSVP@ncaeha.com.
The REHS and CP-FS exams will also be offered on this day. Those interested in sitting for one of these exams will need to pre-register with NEHA by September 30, 2009. Please help pass the word to those who may be interested.
