Discussion of Ballots:
So far nominees for the area delegates stand as:
Northern area: Richard Michelback
Southern area:
Southwest area:
Tidewater area: Courtney
Capitol area: Beth Manghi
Blue Ridge: Eric Myers
Nominees for positions cannot succeed themselves more than one time in office. It was determined that Ed would not be eligible for re-election, however would be willing to be “re-appointed” to the position should there be no candidate on the ballot.
Preston offered to step down as Delegate at Large and offered to be the “logistics officer” for the VP Programs. Susan Miner has agreed to step into the Delegate at Large position for the remainder of the term which will be at the 2010 election/annual business meeting.
Preston has cardboard box of supplies for workshop and has requested to purchase a large plastic tub to properly store these supplies.
A motion was made by Catherine to allow Preston $30 maximum to purchase 1-2 tubs as necessary to store supplies. Motion was seconded by Anna. All in favor; None opposed, motion carries.
Discussion of Sewage handling and Disposal Committee:
Pamela Pruett has been the representative for VEHA to this committee for several years. After several discussions on the subject, the BOD has decided that the representative on the SHADC shall be an active VEHA Board member/VEHA committee member, and a current member of VEHA.
Preston made a motion to nominate David to represent VEHA on the SHADC. Catherine seconded the motion. All in favor; none opposed. Motion carries.
Action needed: Amy to write letter of thanks to Pamela Pruett for her service to the VEHA Board, and a second letter of recommendation to Dr. Remley nominating David to serve on the SHADC.
